”God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1
“An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it’s going to launch you into something great. So just focus, and keep aiming.” – This quote has applied to me so much over the past two years. No matter how bad you think things are, God is surely going to work them out for your favor; He always does.
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.-1st Corinthians 13:4-7… This verse is literally everything I strive to be. It is a perfect summation of how we should all live. But regardless of how others treat us, we still must uphold this verse to the best of our intentions.
3 Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.–Romans 5:3-5… This is a beautiful verse that I absolutely adore. It reminds me that there is an order to all things, and with patience and strong determination, we can steadily achieve the character that God wants us to have while also growing stronger in the process.
